  • Johann Andreas Silbermann built an organ for the simultaneous church in Balbronn in 1747. It had one manual and eight registers, and was mainly used during Protestant celebrations. Joseph Stiehr and Xavier Mockers carried out a revision in 1828. The Tierce was probably replaced by a Salicional 8' on this occasion. The firm of Stiehr-Mockers voiced the organ again in 1861, and they replaced the Cymbale with a Flûte 4'.
  • The joint use of the church building ended in 1906, after the consecration of an own church for the Roman Catholic parish. By the Gebr. Link, the organ was completely converted into a two-manual pneumatic organ in 1908. The enlargement was necessary to be able to fill the entire church space. There were only 78 Silbermann metal pipes left (mainly from the Quinte and the Doublette), and the organ case. Some of the pipe work that Link installed was not new, but came from various organs from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. In 1928 a wind engine was installed by Georges Schwenkedel. Ernest Muhleisen renovated the organ. He removed the swell box and replaced three registers with more baroque stops: he shortened the Gambe 8' to a Doublette 2', and replaced two registers (probably Geigenprincipal and Voix Celeste) with Nasard and Quarte de Nasard.
  • In 2012 it was decided to reconstruct Silbermann's organ, expanded with a second manual and an independent pedal. The work was performed by Christian Guerrier in collaboration with Marianne Bücher. The first manual is set up according to the disposition from 1747. The second manual is designed in style. Silbermann's original pipework has been used, as well as a number of registers from the organ from 1908. The organ was dedicated on 22 May 2016. François Ménissier performed the inauguration concert.
  • The pedal Posaune had not been installed yet. This stop was placed in 2019 and inaugurated on November 2, 2019.
