- The Friedenskirche in Mechtersheim was built after the Second World War. The old church building was destroyed, as was the Stumm organ from 1879. This was an organ with ten stops on manual and pedal. It was inspected on December 17, 1879 by Professor W. Metz of Speyer.
- The organ was repaired in 1908-1909 by Stephan Eckhardt. The front pipes were requisitioned in 1917. In 1929 Steinmeyer installed new zinc front pipes. The organ was lost by bombing on April 24, 1944.
