  • Summerall Chapel was built on the complex of The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina, in 1936-1938. An organ with 34 stops was also installed by Reuter, which has been converted and expanded over time. Since 1965 it had four manuals and pedal with a total of 64 stops. Twenty years later it was no longer playable and was put out of use.
  • The company Cornell Zimmer Organ Builders from North Carolina started rebuilding the organ in 2014, reusing as much piping as possible. The organ was completed in 2017.
