The organ in the protestant church of Dannenfels was built in 1758 by the company Gebr. Stumm, Johann Philipp and Johann Heinrich Stumm. Although the instrument had been modified over time, it is in its original state since a restoration by Oberlinger in 1973. There is an exception to this statement: the manual compass was enlarged from 49 keys (C-c''') tot 54 keys (C-f'''), and the pedal compass was expanded frpom 20 keys (C-g°) to 27 keys (C-d'). The missing key Cis of the lowest octave was added, and connected to cis°.
