Built by: Ernest Muhleisen (1980) - opus 164
The organ contains older material: from 1890 by Oberlinger Orgelbau
In 1890 the Oberlinger company built an organ for the Evangelische Kirche in Elversberg. The instrument was given a beautiful neo-Gothic case. Due to extreme drought, it was no longer usable in 1976. The condition turned out to be so bad that it was decided to demolish the organ's interior and replace it with a new instrument. This was put into use in 1980. It was built by the Mühleisen company. During the construction, various registers from the old organ were also taken over, and the original organ case was used as the main case, with a new Rückpositiv designed in the same style.
