Built by: Klais Orgelbau (1902) - opus 232

The organ in the parish church of Heppenbach was built in 1902 by Johannes Klais. In 1904 the instrument could be dedicated. In 1925 the instrument was re-installed in the current church building. To do so the organ case was split in two parts. The front part (with the Hauptwerk) was placed to right side (north) of the rose window, and the back part (with Positiv and Pedal) to the left side (south). The cases were rotated sideways. The console was standing in between the cases, but is later relocated in front of the organ at the right side.
