- The organ of the Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk (Church of Our Lady) in Dendermonde was built in 1860 by Maximilien Van Peteghem. It is said the a part of the organ case dated from the 18th century, and was constructed by a member of the Van Peteghem family for a previous organ, that was located on a gallery in the transept. According a plan from 1856, a new gallery was erected at the westside of the church, and the renewed organ has been installed here. The prospect was enlarged with two pedal towers. During the restoration of 1946 by Loncke, it was made clear that except for the Voix Humaine all pipes were from 1856-1860.
- In 1946 the organ was restored and rebuilt by the company Jos. Loncke & Zn. Consultant was Josef Kreps. The compass of all manuals was expanded to 56 keys, and the of the pedal to 30 keys. The action was replaced by a new electropneumatic action and the chest of the pedal was replaced by a new and larger cone chest. The stoplist was modified and enlarged. All mixted stops were altered according to a plan by Josef Kreps. On September 29, 1946 the instrument has been rededicated. A concert was played on this occasion by Gabriel Verschraegen and Jozef Suys (organist of the church).
- Pels & Van Leeuwen restored the organ in 2005. The existing situation has been maintained. A second new console has been placed on the church floor, in the choir of the church.
