- On May 19, 1823, a new organ was inaugurated in the Reformed Church in Waalwijk, built by Cornelis van Oeckelen. The organ originally had only one manual with 10 stops and a pulldown pedals.
- The organ was modified in 1909 by G.J. van Dungen, who replaced the original bellows with one large bellow and modified the stop list. The Flute Travers 8', Quint 3' and Mixtuur III were replaced by a Salicionaal and a Gamba 8' and a Cornet IV (discant). The pitch was also raised by a semitone. The organ was moved by De Koff to the west side of the church in 1943 during a restoration of the church building. The keyboard was moved from the back of the organ to the left side and the pedal was expanded with a Subbas on a pneumatic cone chest.
- In 1961/1962, the organ was expanded with a second manual (Bovenwerk) and an independent pedal by De Koff. However, this had not been done in the style of the existing work. De Koff also revoiced the instrument. During maintenance works, the company Flentrop revoiced the organ all over again in 1986. They also added a choir to the Sesquialter and a Vox Humana to the Hoofdwerk.
- In 2007/2008 the organ was thoroughly restored by Pels & Van Leeuwen under consultancy of Aart Bergwerff. On October 25, 2008 the organ was put back into use with a concert by Aart Bergwerff and Bram Beekman. The restoration is based on the condition that existed since 1962. However, the stop list has been modified and built up more in the style of Van Oeckelen. The pipework was also completely re-voiced.
- The church is called 'Kerk aan de Haven' since the start of the Protestant Church in the Netherlands PKN.
