- Probably the first organ of Linneryds Kyrka was built in 1845 by August Rosenborg (or Rosenberg). The instrument was rebuilt in 1870 by Carl August Johansson. But in 1922 an entirely new organ was installed in the organ case of 1845 by the company Walcker & Cie. This instrument, opus 1977 of Walcker, had 23 stops. The organ was put up and tuned in 1922 by the local organ builder Emil Wirell. Lindegren overhauled the organ in 1951.
- In 1967, for the second time a new organ was constructed behind the historic prospect, by Johannes Künkel. The Walcker organ was dismantled and stored in the tower of the church.
- Times and ideas can change: in 2019 Helmut Lutz started a reconstruction of the Walcker organ. Consultant is Göran Grahn. The construction works in the church started in January 2022.
