The organ in the Sankt Margarethakirche in Heimbach-Weiss was built in 1743 by the Gebr. Stumm in for the Abtei Rommersdorf. It was transferred to the parish church in Heimbach around 1800. In 1856 the company Weil from Neuwied rebuilt the organ. They removed the positive and re-installed this as an under-positive. In 1964 the Klais company carried out a reconstruction of the original instrument, but with electrical stop action. The pedal was expanded to seven registers. On November 8, 1964 the organ was put back into use with a concert by Paul Schuh.
