  • Friedrich Wilhelm Schwarz built a pneumatic organ for the Domkirche in Sankt Blasien in 1912-1913. Consultant was Suitbert Krämer. The organ was inspected on June 15, 1913 by Franz Xaver Steinhart. The front pipes were not removed in 1917. The organ was overhauled in 1946 by the company Welte, and restored in 1958 by the company Gebr. Späth. On the advice of Franz Stemmer, the pitch has been raised to a'=440 Hz, a new console has been installed without sub- and super octave couplers and the swell box of the Positiv has been removed. This work was completed on December 15, 1958.
  • The organ was in poor condition for a long time. All the original pipework was still there. The instrument was restored by the Klais company in 1995-1997 based on the original design. It was inaugurated on October 19, 1997.
