- The old parish church of Hötting had become too small, so in 1888 plans were made and funds raised for the construction of a new church. This was built at a different location, further north. The church was designed by Leopold Heis and built in 1909-1911. The building opened in December 1911, but was not dedicated until 1924. The interior of the church was modernized in 1989.
- The organ was built in 1892 for the Cathedral Church of Innsbruck by Franz (II) Reinisch. It was placed in an historic organ case of Johann Humpel. By the company Gebr. Rieger, a new organ was installed in the Cathedral in 1931. The Reinisch organ was then transferred to Hötting, equipped with a new organ case.
- The organ was restored in 2014 by Christian Erler. Some registers of the Hauptwerk have been placed in a swell box.
