In 1878 Forster & Andrews built a two-manual organ for Fore Street Methodist Church in Mevagissey. This church was merged with River Street Methodist Church in 1967 and subsequently demolished. The organ was moved to Saint Bartholomew's Church in Porthleven, a church building dating from 1842. The organ served here until around 2000. It was demolished and replaced by an electronic organ.
