The previous organ of Essunga Kyrka was built in 1905 by Carl Axel Härngren. In 1936 Frobenius carried out a renovation. The disposition was expanded with a Mixtur. In 1954, Bo Wedrup shortened the Salicional to a Larigot. In 1964 Nordfors & Co. a revision. The organ had twelve registers on two manuals and pedal. It was demolished in 1984 and replaced by a completely new organ by Walter Thür.
