1964 firma Georges Schwenkedel  new organ
2003 Gaston Kern  restoration

  • Curt Schwenkedel built an organ for the Église Saint-Matthieu in Drusenheim in 1964. The church was rebuilt after destruction in the Second World War. The organ was lost, built by Ferdinand Stieffel in 1779 and expanded by Louis Mockers in 1887. The new organ has two manuals and a pedal with nineteen registers. It was dedicated in November 1964.
  • In 2003 the organ was renovated by the Kern company. The Larigot 1 1/3' of the Récit has been replaced by a Flûte 4' and the Récit was expanded with a Tremblant. The organ was put into use again on May 18, 2003 with a concert by Sabine Dietrich and Marc Baumann.
