- The Lehigh Organ Company built a new organ for Christ Episcopal Church in Reading, Pennsylvania in 1975-1976. Consultant was Bruce P. Bengston, organist of the church. Parts of the instrument were taken from the church's previous organ, such as the 1953 Austin console, and some stops. Some of these contained pipes by William A. Johnson from 1864. The Johnson organ was renovated and expanded by Austin in 1911 and 1953. The new organ was put into use in May 1976.
- The organ was expanded in 1980 with a Kontra Poasune 32' on the pedal. The console was renovated at the end of 1999. Four registers have been added. One of these was a digital Untersatz 32'.
