ca. 1990 Carey Moore  rebuild

  • Wycliffe Baptist Church in Reading was built in 1881. John Nicholson built a two-manual organ with sixteen stops for this church in 1895. In the 1980s and 1990s, a team of volunteers led by Carey Moore converted and expanded the organ into a three-manual organ with 39 registers, almost all extensions and transmissions. Pipework by Alfred Monk of around 1800 is also said to have been installed, taken from the demolished organ of Greyfriars Tin Mission Hall.
  • The organ was demolished in 2009. There has been no pipe organ in the church since.
