  • The Wallfahrtskirche Sankt Antonius von Padua in Rietz was built in 1757. A small organ with four registers was installed. This instrument was replaced in 1871-1872 by a new organ by Franz Weber. However, it was not entirely new: Weber used an existing organ with a baroque organ case. The old front pipes were removed in early 1918 by Karl Reinisch and used as war metal. In 1933, Hermann Eiter and Hans Stoff installed new zinc front pipes.
  • Little is known about the original instrument. A restoration was carried out in 2020-2021. Examination revealed that the organ had previously had fifteen registers. It was almost certainly built by Andreas Jäger. It is also likely that this is the old organ from the church of Fliess, which was built by Jäger in 1739. In 1804 the organ was transferred to a new church, the current Sankt Barbarakirche. In 1869 Franz Weber built a new organ for this church, taking over the old instrument. Almost all of the pipework was used in the construction of the new organ in Fließ. The case was placed in Rietz, including the windchest of the manual, the keyboard and part of the mechanisms. The manual compass was increased from 45 to 50 keys. The original Jäger front pipes were lost in 1918 as mentioned.
  • In 2020-2021 the organ was restored by Linder Orgelbau. New prospect pipes made of tin have been installed.
