The organ contains older material: Pipes from 1876 by Pierre Schyven & Cie.
Around 1970 Jos. Stevens a new study organ for the conservatory in Brussels. During construction, much pipe work was taken over from the previous study organ, which was built in 1876 by Pierre Schyven. The organ served in Brussels until 1991. Patrick Collon then disassembled the instrument. After a renovation, it was placed in the church of Sterpenich in 1994 by André Thomas.
