In 1843 Johann Burger built an organ for the Sankt Laurentiuskirche in Rodersdorf. It is one of the oldest organs in Solothurn that have survived in good condition. During a renovation by the company Gebr. Klinger in 1889 the disposition was altered. The Trompete was replaced by a Gambe, and the Oktave 4' of the pedal by a Violoncello 8'. In 1983 the organ was restored by Roman Steiner. The disposition was reconstructed, but instead of a Trompete, Steiner placed a Cromorne on the manual. On December 4, 1983, the organ was rededicated.
