Knox Presbyterian Church in Dunedin was built from 1872 and completed in 1876. A first organ was delivered in 1884 by the company T.C. Lewis & Co. This organ was sold to Napiers Cathedral in 1931. A new organ was built by Hill, Norman & Beard. The organ was rebuilt in 1968 by the Peter Matla, and in 1974 by the South Island Organ Company. The South Island Organ Company carried out a renovation in 2001, in which an electronic combination system was installed.
