The Holme Park buildings were occupied by the Reading Blue Coat School in 1946. The house possessed a 1915 Aeolian Organ Company organ with nine stops. All but one of the manual registers were eight feet. John Bowen rebuilt the organ in 1964-1965. In fact, a new two-manual organ has been built. The manual registers can optionally be used on both manuals.
