The organ in the church in Mouscron-Coquinie is much older than the church itself. The building was constructed in 1961, and the organ was placed in the church in 1966 by Georges Delmotte. It had been taken over by Delmotte from the chapel of the Pères Assomptionistes in Taintignies. It had been bought by the cloister in the early twentieth century in Clairmarais. It dates from the end of the nineteenth century and is said to have been built by Paul Vandeville (according to Emile-Henri Kerkhoff, 1923). When the organ was installed in Mouscron, the action was electrified and a new console was installed. Kamiel D'Hooghe gave the dedication concert on June 23, 1966. The orgab case and the front were modernized in 1983.
