- Saint Mark's Lutheran Church was originally located at a different location in Charlotte. The old building housed a Johnson & Sons organ from 1895. After the construction of a new church, this organ was donated to Covenant Presbyterian Church, where it was rebuilt by Schlicker in a strongly modified form in Morrison Chapel. It was dedicated in this chapel on May 21, 1961 with a concert by Richard and Betty Peek.
- The organ was replaced in 2012 by a new organ from the Schlueter Organ Company. It is not known what happened to the old instrument.
