  • In 1912, Estey built an organ for Holy Comforter Episcopal Church in Charlotte. The organ, opus 1068 of the firm, was transferred to a new location after the construction of the present church on Park Road. In 1970 it was converted and expanded by Wicks Organ Company. This was made possible thanks to a gift from Carolyn Sherrill.
  • The organ was replaced in the years 2008-2011 by a larger organ, built by Bunn-Minnick. Pipework from Estey and Wicks has been used again. The Organ was expanded into a three-manual instrument, with a separate Antiphonal Organ. On April 17, 2011, Palm Sunday, it could be played for the first time during worship. The official inaugural concert was on May 6, 2011, and was given by Jonathan Ryan.
