During the construction of a new organ in the Stiftskirche Sankt Ägidius in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, a small organ by Steinmeyer was placed in the church with four stops and an attached pedal. This organ probably dates from the 1960s-1970s. It was renovated by Johannes Zimnol and transferred to the Sankt Johannes Baptist Kapelle in Appenhofen in 2016. Here it replaced a positive by Oberlinger from 1968. The organ was inaugurated in Appenhofen on September 11, 2016. During the service, the organ was played by Christa Hirsch-Piepenbrink.
