- The Sankt Johannes Baptist Kapelle in Appenhofen is the old Simultankirche in the village. An organ was placed in this small church in 1968, which was built by the Gebr. Oberlinger. It is a serially manufactured positive with four stops. It first served in the Stadtkirche in Ingenheim during the construction of a new organ in this church. It was then placed in Appenhofen.
- In 2016, the organ was replaced by another small instrument, built by Steinmeyer, from the Stiftskirche in Neustadt an der Weinstraße.
