Description nr.: 2074316.
Built by: Gebrüder Späth (1981)
The organ contains older material: Prospect from 1844 by Johann Eichenauer
The Alsterweiler-Kapelle was built in 1845. After a renovation of the building in 1980-1981, an organ was built by the Gebrüder Späth. The organ case is partly old, and was taken over from the parish church Sankt Pankratius in Berghausen. A completely new organ was built in this church by Hugo Wehr. The old organ case was possibly made by Johann Eichenauer in 1844, and fitted with a new interior by Gustav Schlimbach in 1878. However, Bernhard Bonkhoff wrote in 2001 that the case dates from the eighteenth century, and that Eichenauer had expanded the organ in 1844 ('shortly before 1850') with a second manual.
