The old church of Brunskog burned down completely on June 29, 1972 as a result of a lightning strike. The old organ of the church was lost in the fire. This was an organ of the firm Setterquist & Son from 1882 with ten stops, which was converted and expanded to 25 stops in 1950 by Mårtenssons Orgelfabrik.
