- Joseph Adolf Poppe built an organ for the Protestant church in Mehlingen in 1938. The design was inspired by the ideas of the Orgelbewegung. In 1962 the instrument was modified by Paul Zimnol. It was demolished in 1985 and replaced by an entirely new organ.
