Due to a fire on June 29, 1993, the previous organ of Saint Michael's Church in Newquay was lost. After restoration of the church, an electronic organ was installed in 1999. A new pipe organ was only inaugurated on July 7, 2013. This instrument was built by Lance Foy. Much of the material was taken from the 1889 Hele Organ of Saint Paul's Church, Agar Road in Truro. This church was closed in 2007. This has been supplemented by pipe work and the facade of the 1904 Hele Organ from Wesley Methodist Church, 32 East Street in Newquay. This organ contained pipes by John Gray from 1836 and Henry Bevington from 1871. It originally stood in the church of Saint Mary the Virgin in Andover. David Briggs played the dedication concert.
