In 1956 a second-hand organ was placed in the church of Altarnun, dating from around 1900. The instrument was in poor condition after many years. In 2015-2017 another organ was installed in the church by David Gridley. It is a Heard & Co. organ, which was purchased from a Methodist Chapel in Voguebeloth near Redruth. By Christmas 2016, the organ could already be used. It was completed in June 2017. The organ was dedicated on September 13, 2017. During the service, the organ was played by the parish's own organists, Jenny Bartlett, Peggy Blackeby and Gordon Mounder. Kate Samuels played a first concert on the organ after the celebration.
