- In 1961-1962 Nicholson built a large new organ for the Church of Saint Michael Archangel in Newquay. It had three manuals and 52 registers. The old organ of the church was sold to the Church of Saint Pol de Leon in Paul. Consultant was John Dykes Bower.
- Due to a fire on June 29, 1993, the organ was lost. After restoration of the church, an electronic organ was installed in 1999. A new pipe organ was only commissioned in 2013.
