In 1960 H.A. Howell an organ for the First Presbyterian Church in Oregon, Illinois. After the church building was closed, it was sold and converted into a care center. The organ was donated to Saint Laurence Catholic Church in Elgin. It was transferred by the Fabry Organ Company. They expanded the organ with a Twelfth 2 2/3' on Great, and a Spitz Principal 4' on Swell, both from the organ builder's stock.
