In 1892 the Walcker company built an organ with seventeen stops for the "Evangelische Verein für innere Mission" in Frankfurt am Main. It was built with cone chests and mechanical action. In 1914 this organ was transferred by Adolph Poppe to the Protestant Kirche, now Christuskirche, in Maxdorf. The disposition has been modified over time. The organ was demolished in 1972 and replaced by a new organ, also by Walcker. A number of registers have been re-used in this organ.
