The Johannes-der-Täuferkirche in Harthausen was built in the years 1872-1874; In 1883, Johann Jelacic completed an organ with 23 registers. The organ case is designed in Gothic Revival style. The organ had cone chests and mechanical action. In connection with a renovation of the interior of the church, the organ has also been renewed. Hugo Wehr built a new organ in the old organ case in 1979. Much of the pipe work from the old organ has been re-used.
