The organ contains older material: Prospect from 1864 by Frans Andersson
In 1864 Frans Andersson built an organ for Föglö Kyrka. The front of this organ has been preserved, as well as two registers. The organ was placed in the choir of the church, behind the altar. In 1911 a new organ was built on a gallery on the west side of the nave. This organ was demolished in 1970. Kangasala built a new organ behind Andersson's front. The Octave 4' of the pedal was taken over from the organ from 1911. Enzio Forsblom was consultant during the construction.
