The first organ of Johanneksen Kirkko in Hamina was built in 1906 by Oskar Merikanto. This organ was replaced in 1988 with a completely new organ by Veikko Virtanen. Advisor was Markku Ketola. The organ was dedicated on January 8, 1989.
