Built by: Hendrick Wicher Flentrop (ca. 1935)
In 1977, Mr. D. Wolvers acquired a second-hand salon organ, constructed by H.W. Flentrop, from an organ dealer who had bought it himself in 1975. The origin of the instrument is unknown. It must have been built around 1935. The stop list was altereed in 1984 by A.W. behr. This replaced the Voix Céleste 8' (treble) with a Quint 1 1/3' (treble) and placed an Octave 2' on a new slide. In 2001 the instrument was overhauled by Maarten Vos Jr. and the voicing of the new registers was improved. When Mr Wolvers passed away in the spring of 2003, the organ was sold to the Baptist Church in Dordrecht. It was transferred by Maarten Vos Jr. to the managers house (Vrieseweg 64) of the Kruiskerk. The organ was transferred in 2012 to the church of the Baptist community Ontmoeting in Arnhem-South (Wassenaarseweg 5). It has stood here for a few years, and was sold in 2018 to the Kulturskole in Stavanger in Norway.
