The organ contains older material: Prospect from 1763 by Builder unknown
In 1891 the Steinmeyer company built a new organ for the Sankt Oswaldkirche in Lonnerstadt. The prospect was taken from the previous organ of the church, dating from 1763. The disposition was altered in 1960 by Otto Hoffmann. In connection with a restoration of the church building, the organ was disassembled and stored in 1980. It was then restored by Werner Bosch. On March 21, 1982 the organ was put back into use.
