- The Lutherkirche in Pirmasens is the old Untere Kirche, built in the years 1757-1761 as a Court and Garrison Church. The church was dedicated on October 4, 1761. An organ was built for the church in 1775 by Johann Georg Geib, which was replaced in 1913-1914 by an organ by Steinmeyer in the old case. Hans Albrecht from Kaiserslautern was consultant. In addition to the organ case, the wooden pipes were reused, as were the stops Principal 8', Gamba 8' and Trompete 8' (Hauptwerk) and Geigenprincipal 8' and Äoline 8' (Unterpositiv). The organ had Taschenladen with pneumatic action. On August 9, 1944 church and organ were lost by bombing.
- The disposition of the Geib organ was noted by Steinmeyer in 1913. Steinmeyer assumed that it was an organ of the Gebrüder Stumm. It was modified by the company Gebr. Huber from Pirmasens at the end of the nineteenth century.
