Gebrüder Huber

The brothers Heinrich Wilhelm (1816) and Christian Huber were sons of the organ maker Johannes Huber (1779). They were active as organ builders in Pirmasens under the name Gebrüder Huber. Later, Heinrich Wilhelm's son, Johann Heinrich Wilhelm (December 14, 1842 - December 2, 1910) also became an employee and later owner of the company. The last generation of organ builders under this name were two sons of Johann Heinrich Wilhelm. These were Friedrich Wilhelm Ludwig (March 6, 1887 – July 29, 1971) and Albert Friedrich Ludwig (October 6, 1890 – May 7, 1950). In 1964 the company was dissolved, as well as the music trade in Pirmasens.
