In 1905, the Walcker company built a new organ for the Protestant Church in Dannstadt, which was built in 1849. It was a pneumatic organ with fourteen stops. The instrument had cone chests. During a restoration by Oberlinger in 1959-1960, the stop list was radically modified: only five registers by Walcker were preserved in their entirety. In 1984 the organ was replaced by a new organ with mechanical action and slider chests by Emil Hammer. The 1905 facade and part of the pipework have been reused. The new organ was inaugurated on September 23, 1984.
