1975 André Thomas  restoration

  • In the years 1960 to 1964, Abbe Robert Mathot built a new organ for the Église Saint-Roch in Montleban. The organ was dedicated on September 12, 1964. The inaugural concerts were given on September 12 and 13 by five organists: Jean Faures, Jean Verrees, Jean-Jacques Grünewald, Charles Hens and Michael Schneider.
  • André Thomas renovated the organ in 1975. A part of the mechanics had to be renewed. Four reserved stops were placed by Thomas, three on the pedal and the Sesquialtera on the Grand Orgue. Thomas replaced the largest eight metal pipes of the Soubasse with new pipes made of cedar wood.
