The organ contains older material: Organ case from 1740 by Jean Jodoc Vonesche
The organ in the Église Notre-Dame in Bergheim was built in 1879 by Emile Wetzel in a 1740 organ case built by Jean-Jodoc Von Esch. The organ was renovated in 1903 by Martin and Joseph Rinckenbach. Alfred Kern carried out an overhaul in 1973. A last restoration has been carried out by Michel Gaillard in 2006. The organ has three manual works, but only two manuals. Positif and Récit are both played from the second manual.
