Keskikartano in Helsinki was a restaurant that was located in the inner city from 1946 to 1967. It was started by the Kalevalaiset Naiset Ry:n (Kalevala Women's Association), inspired by the Finnish national epic, The Kalevala. It was designed by Aarne Ervi. There was a pipe organ in the building. Everything was made of wood, and the organ only had wooden pipes. The restaurant was especially successful after the 1952 Olympics, which were held in Helsinki. But due to the sale and demolition of the building, it was forced to close. The last day it was open was October 15, 1967.
