  • In 1937, the Austin Organ Company built a new three-manual organ for Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church in Ann Arbor. During the construction, some ranks were taken from the previous organ of the church, also an Austin instrument, opus 144 from 1905. The organ was placed on both sides of the chancel. In 1955 an Antiphonal Organ was installed in the church, which could also be played from the Austin console. The Reuter Organ Company installed a new console in 1964.
  • The organ has been replaced in 1971 by a new Reuter organ. Both Oboe 8' and Vox Humana 8' from Swell were placed in this organ, and the 1964 console has been used for the new organ. The rest of the instrument was sold to Chester Summers. It was transferred to his home in Fowlerville, Michigan, by S. George Price and Geral Mutchler (Mutchler Pipe Organ Company). Mutchler made new windchests. Chester Summers' home was the former Saint Agnes Roman Catholic Church from 1901. Half of the church was converted into a residence, while the choir was used as a music room. The Austin organ's stop list was expanded with six stops and a transmission, and the two missing Swell stops were replaced by a Mixture and a new Vox Humana.
  • Saint Agnes Roman Catholic Church was dedicated in 1901. After a new church was built at a different location, the church was sold to Chester Summers. The part that he set up as a music room was also rented out as a chapel. The building has been owned by different people in later years, but the chapel has always existed as a special room. In 2018-2022 the building was converted into a Bed & Breakfast by Barbra Thumudo. The chapel has since been named Kelmscott Chapel. According to current information, there only is a theater organ built by Wurlitzer in 1927 (opus 1625) for the Granada Theater in Detroit. Apparently, this has been transferred to the chapel in 1970 by Steele Organ Company.
