  • In 1957 Magnussons Orgelbyggeri installed a two-manual organ in the cathedral of Gothenburg, which served as a temporary organ during the construction of a new main organ. After this instrument was completed, the small organ was transferred to Landala Kapell. This chapel was built in 1885 and is constructed entirely of wood. The building used to be on a different location, and was moved to its current location in 1919. In 1960 a fire broke out that partially destroyed the chapel. After a restoration, the church hall was redecorated and the organ was installed.
  • The last service of the Swedish Church was held on November 29, 2015. From 2016, the chapel has been used by the Evangeliska Fosterlandsstiftelsen.
