The organ contains older material: Pipes from by Joseph Merklin
In 2022, the Verschueren company built a new three-manual organ in French-romantic style for Vågsbygd Kirke in Kristiansand. A number of Joseph Merklin's original registers will be placed during construction. The organ was inaugurated on October 22 and 23, 2022. Bjørn G. Odden, organist of the church, played the inauguration concert on October 22.
