Het Paramount Theatre in New York opende op 19 november 1926. Het theater lag aan Broadway bij de 43rd Street. In de grote zaal plaatste de firma Wurlitzer een groot theaterorgel, opus 1458 van de firma. Het orgel werd bekend als een van de mooiste theaterorgels in het land. Toen het theater in augustus 1964 sloot en niet lang daarna werd afgebroken is het orgel verkocht aan Richard Simonton. Hij plaatste het in het Century II Convention Center in Wichita, Kansas.
